Hear Jennifer Aniston’s Southern accent as a former pageant queen in Netflix’s ‘Dumplin”

Envision this: Jennifer Aniston, as a former teen beauty queen, with a Southern drawl.

Actually, you don’t have to imagine. That’s exactly what you’ll see in the new trailer for Netflix film “Dumplin’,” which stars Aniston as a small-town Texas mom to a plus-size teen named Willowdean, played by Danielle Macdonald, the fabulous actress with rapping skills from Sundance hit “Patti Cake$.”

In the movie, adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name, Willowdean (her mom calls her Dumplin’) decides to join her mother’s Miss Teen Blue Bonnet pageant in protest, despite saying she’s “not the Joan of Arc of fat girls.”

Like what you hear in the trailer? The background song features the voices of Sia and Dolly Parton, who collaborated on song “Here I Am” for the film.

“Dumplin”http://www.usatoday.com/” is available on Netflix and in select theaters on Dec. 7.
